ENDORSE THE “CASCINA PROJECT” !
At Cascina Castello in Spessa, a small town of 600
inhabitants in the province of Pavia, where the association Artemista is based,
people are working hard towards the
creation of a reference centre for cultural and artistic projects and,
additionally, of a Hostel, in order to engage in a permanent activity on
several fronts, at a local, national and international scale, including:
· Theatre, music and visual art productions

meetings, events programming

Show
sessions

Multidisciplinar
training

Environmental
education

Sustainable
tourism

Hospitality
Our goal is to build a unique
Centre where several activities will be proposed with the aim of valuing
resources, people and competences.
The Centre will welcome various
stakeholders such as theatre groups, musicians, schools, associations, day
centers, tourists and groups.
Interventions are turned towards
economic, energetic and environmental sustainability.
The Cascina renovation project is funded up to 55 % by Regione
Lombardia; the rest is due by Artemista, which, through own funds, bank loans,
charity, private and company contributions and the help of many volunteers has
covered most of the expenses.
BUT 8 % of funds has still to be found in
order to get the job done according to plans!
In
order to secure the funds already identified for the project, renovation works
need to be completed by april 2012 and, additionally, to accomplish the job we
still need to gather the remaining funds! Your contribution will do so much
